False Ceiling Planning Checklist Before Site Execution
Many ceiling issues start before installation: late MEP drawings, unclear fixture locations, or no agreement on access panel positions. A pre-execution checklist avoids these surprises and protects finishing quality.
At minimum, teams should freeze reflected ceiling plans, confirm duct and sprinkler routes, align light fixture cutouts, and identify maintenance access points. Material samples and edge details should be signed off before bulk work starts.
With proper sequencing and inspections, ceilings remain level, serviceable, and visually clean. This also reduces costly rework that often happens when services and civil scopes are not coordinated early.
